Rocco Mauro is Head of M&A and Business Development for Italy at ZE Energy, a French independent power producer backed by leading private equity and institutional investors, where he is contributing to the development of a utility-scale BESS pipeline exceeding 2 GWh in Italy.
He holds an MSc in Management from Bocconi University in Milan and brings more than a decade of experience in renewable energy and infrastructure investment across wind, solar and energy storage. Throughout his career, he has led and advised on the development, acquisition and divestment of greenfield and ready-to-build assets, with a particular focus on M&A, project finance, transaction structuring and value creation in underperforming assets.
